I wanted to ask if using the bloom and lens flare effect are lost of fps.
Seeing the Avisim basic settings guide and the screenshot present in it is not checked for both effects. The guide recommends using the "Steve fixer DX10".
Should the effects be enabled or not? Obviously in DX 10 Preview with the "Steve fixer".

To me, it is more a question of realistic simulation.

Neither of those effects from 2006 pass muster for me, so they are disabled.
How they affect FPS, I cannot say.
