P3D v4 Black flashing

Featured Replies

My P3D v4 has been having a problem for a while. It has been flashing completely black at random times for no reasons, and I have no idea why. I have reinstalled the sim multiple times, and this happened on a clean install of P3D with the only 2 things installed being the Q400 and ASP4/ASCA. Anyone have ideas?

This has 2 examples of when it happens, happens much more often though.

Nick , not knowing what your system specs are I guess that your video card is either not coping , not getting enough power or getting too hot...

Corsair CS650M power supply

Hi Nick

What are your current settings in P3D?

Are you using PTA and if yes, deleted shaders? Restored default shaders?

Overclocked 4790 with GTX1080 and an 650W power supply, sounds like power problems due to overclocking.

Turn down your CPU OC to 4,3 and try again.
