December 13, 20178 yr So found this F406 Caravan on a good sale at their site and along with an even better sale price on their Baron B58 jumped at both. Spent the past few days off and on configuring both including trimming to just two of the 406's liveries, one with RXP GTN750 and RXPv2 GNS530 and the other with (2) RXPv2 GNS530 gauges. Today I took my maiden flight in my GTN variant. LIke it a lot. Even though it forced me to get reacquainted with the Aspen EFD1000 that I sort of left behind in their Bonanza A36. Didn't take long. Perhaps I should revisit the Bonanza! Only ummm moment I had was that the 406 seemed to jump off the runway at rotation. Seemed too light, though Cessna twins are known for that compared to twin Pipers and Beechcrafts. The remainder of the flight was great. Recommend this if you want a GA twin with a lot of seats and considerable range.
