REX Wx Radar - manual install - gauge name - no bezel ?

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

Now that I'm very happy to have my REX Wx Radar back in operation - I'd like to slap it some of my Carenado aircraft in place of the awful Avadyne...

I've read through the manual and I couldn't find a reference for manual installs...

When manually installing the gauge into a vacant VC slot - what's the gauge name I'm supposed to use and how do I specify the "no bezel" option ???

Thanks...

Regards,
Scott

Hey Scott,

maybe you should have a look here: :-)

(Bill actually posted a complete panel.cfg over there)

Where do you go to re-download? I can't find anywhere on the Rex site to do this.

Thanks.

Hi Dave,

Just run the REX Wx Gauge Updater if you have it installed...

Also - thanks to Tom's pointer and Bill's example - here is an example config on how to manually install in the Carenado PC-12 which I just did over the weekend...

Regards,
Scott
