External Pan skipping

Using experimental build, when I pan using mouse in external view it skips to different points around the aircraft, frame rate isn't dropping but panning is not smooth

Is the pan smooth when you pan using the UI sliders, Keyboard/Button commands?

When I use the UI and keys it is smoother but you can see that it seems to lose where the origin of the model is every now and then and drifts away from it then snaps back. You can see it at 30s onwards in this vid
