January 3, 20188 yr Yesterday, I spent most of the day flying domestic routes in the FSL A320. I used this aircraft, so I could test performance, could not think of a better aircraft to do it in. I flew from NZQN-NZWN-NZDN-NZAA-NZCH without rebooting the Sim. There was no drop in peformance the entire time. No FPS drops to report either. I used 1024 clouds for testing, activated 3D model sync. I used Envtex sky as I found the more to my liking. Now, the weather in NZ at the time of my flights was a real mixed bag, from towering CB's, Anvil shaped clouds, broken cloud, and thick overcast. Ideal conditions for testing RSF. It was not ground breaking, it was "Breathtaking". I have never felt the immersion like I did when I flew those flights. As screen shots won't do it justice, you may want to see for yourselves. Start your flight at NZDN 1810 NZDT Wednesday the 3rd ( it is 0035 the 4th here now ) Plan a flight to NZAA, make sure you select "Use Sim time " in ASP4 or AS2016. On that leg, it had so much variety of weather, storm fronts etc, it was ideal for testing. Edit: Caution, if you are not using an app like fsreal time, due to time bug in P3D, it may show the departure time in the dark. Try an earlier time if that is the case. Currently it does not get dark till 2200hrs as we are in Summer.
