MD MAX Pro.

EgbertWhy don't you give an upto date opinion. You are always quick to give a bad opinion based upon your outdated experiences, which you are perfectly entitled to do. But at least get up to speed with the current version of the MDmax, what is clearly a superb simulation of the MD80. In my opinion, there is not an alternative FS simulation of this aircraft any way near as good as the MDmax.ThanksBob Wright

Hi Bob,I agree 100%.The MD Max Pro is one of the best, if not the best, MD simulation there is today.I was also somewhat disapointed when I got the very first release, but I have changed my mind big time. The only downer IMO, is that they have not co operated with Richard Stefans Nav Data service http://www.navdata.at/index.php, and that you have to make your own FMS flightplans completely manually in a txt file.Other than that it is an excellent MD simulation. Yes, I say simulation,...because if you want a flushing toilet, coffe mugs in the cockpit, hanging moving jackets or clickable blinds, the MD Max is not for you. The panel may not be the very best one when it comes to proportions, but the gauges do their work more than good.So basicly,..Simulation = MD Max Pro. Eyecandy = not MD Max Pro. :-wavehttp://www.scandicair.com/images/sa_banner.gifI :-erks on DELL,...And that is an understatement. :-hahMy specs are:Dell Dimension 4600 P4/2.8 at 3.0 Ghz1024 Mb DDR333 Dual channel memory (2x256,1x512)256 Mb ATI Radeon X850 Pro ViVo, flashed to a X850 XT PE. Be that as it may. But consider this (copied from the thread linked above):"I don't have the MDMAX, but all Maddog Products (MDMAX, LAGo MAddog, Flight1 SuperMD80) were recently reviewed by an Austrian MD pilot in the German Flightxpress magazine. The conclusion was that the LAGO Maddog is the most consistent when it comes to practical real world operation and procedures. He didn't find any reason to pay that much for the MDMAX."The 1.5 version of the Lago plane works as advertised. The developer of this plane is working on Version 2 of the MD80 and has promised another patch. ricardo
