For those who may still be flying this great freeware package, I went back in tme (Jan 06) when IFly first released the 747 and there was some discussion on the poor frame rates that several were getting in the 2D mode. Would anyone know if there was ever a work around or patch getting better fps? I did find a zip file in one of the messages tthat may correct the problem, but it is no longer available. If not is there a way to use only VC mode? Thanks for any help.Carl

Addon scenery and Multiplayer aircraft from the networks IVAO and Vatsim can cause frame rate problems. I found after a hard drive crash and a fresh reinstall of FS I get better rates.
