Featured Replies

Hi... sorry if this sounds stupid but im a complete noob. Im looking for a new aircraft to fly on FS9.... However Im fed up of downloading aircraft and finding that they are jst the 737 panel with an unrealistic aircraft body... Ive been very impressed with the Fokker F100 by project fokker and any info on other aircraft like this would be much appriechiated... I WANT A QUALITY AIRCRAFT WITH AN ORINGINAL PANEL! any help is great, cheers,

Uhhhhrrrrr.....There are dozens to choose from, maybe you should be a bit more specific. If you look for an airliner, go can't go wrong with any of the offerings of the following companies:LDS : http://www.leveldsim.com/sevensix_home.aspPMDG: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/DreamFleet: http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/There are more, but these are (in my opinion) top rated.EDIT:Oops.... Maybe I should have read your posting better. The above aircraft are all payware, and I'm now wondering if you meant freeware aircraft....

Yeh.... i was sorta hoping for a recomendation from the Avsim file libary (freeware).... More specifically Im looking for a medium to large regional jet like the Fokker F-70 for example.... i might be completely wrong and such aircraft might not exist! but as I said im a completely new a all this...... thanks for your help anyway.

I just bought my first payware airliner. Up till now I've made due with what's in the library. Some of the ones I have are:Dreamwings ERJPOSKY CRJPAD Dash 8Milton Shupe's Dash 7There's a multitude of 737's, I currently use the Fifty North one for the exterior model with a panel from the library.Generally any of the POSKY planes have nice exterior models, and you can easily find a panel to your liking in the library. You can also find great sound sets in the library. You can come up with quite a nice airliner with no cash outlay, just a little of your time.Jim

Thanks for that, I'd never thought of using different panels etc. cheers

A little bigger than the Fokker and not really a regional jet, but I have really enjoyed the iFDG A319 in any of Ben Jones' liveries, especially the Frontier "animal" schemes:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...&CatID=fs2004acKen Mitchel's A320 Panel is a work of art and works great with the A319:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...4pan&DLID=69039And get the panel update by Eric Olson:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...4pan&DLID=70719Anything from iFDG or Project Opensky is great freeware. I also enjoyed the Posky 767v4 and the new 737 series quite a lot. There are loads of panels in the library, mixing & matching panels to planes is half the fun.Jim
