January 31, 20188 yr Keven, please address this. This has happened 100% of the time in the last few days. For example, just now I turned on my PC. Started CP It has an update, 4.185 All I see on-screen now is the TFDi Design 717 and v0.4.185 screen with the Initializing screen behind it. It's been frozen for ten minutes now. This ALWAYS happens when I first run CP, since the other day. Not one thing has been changed on my PC. Please advise. Jack Sawyer

I USED to let P3D run it but now because of all the updates I HAVE to run it first. I can try it in a few minutes as you seem to suggest and let you know. 2. Only on first launch, after I boot the PC, and yes, in case you ask I am connected to the internet else it wouldn't be updating. Jack Sawyer
February 1, 20188 yr Author Ok, I just did a test. 1. I shut down the PC, restarted it then ran just P3D4.1. Chase Plane comes up and doesn't freeze. 2. I shut down the PC and rebooted and ran CP and this time it did not freeze. I think what's happening here is I turn on the PC after not running it for a day or two, run CP, there's an update and AFTER it updates it freezes when it tries to initialize. Hope this helps.
