Hi,

I have a small green (box / symbols) appearing above all airport ground vehicles and distant aircraft,can anyone tell me what I've done here please ?

Hello Keith 

Maybe you have turned on Navigation Visuals ?

Launch Prepar3D,  Go to Navigation > Navigation visuals and un-tick what you don't want to use
