Majestic DASH8 and MCP2 rotary knobs

Featured Replies

Im using the VRInsight MCP 2 (Boeing). I've downloaded and installed all latest versions of A/C, FSUIPC (5.123) LINDA and the modul for Majestic DASH 8-400. Everything seems ok except for the rotary knobs for HDG, ALT and VS. Nothing happens in the MCP window or in the A/C when I turn them. Any ideas?

Hi Johnny

Are you using P3Dv4.1? The latest FSUIPC5 5.123c requires this version and it needs to be registered.

Make sure you have the correct module installed (Majestic Dash 8 Q-400 v2.5). You can also try deleting the config-mcp2.lua file in /modules/linda-cfg/aircrafts/majestic dash 8 q-400. The restart P3D and LINDA GUI to automatically copy the config-mcp2.default to config-mcp2.lua. If you open the MCP Combo and select the MCP sub-panel you should see functions with the prefix MJCD8 for the HDG and ALT knobs.

If this does not work please follow the Fault Diagnosis procedure and email the fsuipc5.log and your config-mcp2.lua.
