X Plane and just setting up Pilot2ATC.  my question: to Keep Pilot2ATC showing, do we have to keep the sim in "window mode" ?

Know there is a "keep on top button". but in "full screen " it disappears whenever I click on anything

and I know I can hit the "windows" button on the keyboard to bring it back up. but jut would like to keep it visable

Yes, if you want it to stay visible on top of X-Plane, X-Plane must be in windowed mode.  Otherwise, X-Plane directly controls the screens and window settings are rendered useless.
