February 15, 20188 yr Hi, I posted this in the "If you think you've found something wrong" topic, but didn't get a response After updating to latest version 2.7.48, On a VFR flight when requesting flight following, ATC gives a transponder code and requests acknowledgement of the squawk. I am no longer able to get a response from ATC unless I say option 1 to the menu item. This was working prior to update. Any suggestions? Also, is there a way to speed up the response from a script? It appears that it takes the F/O a long time to complete a script even though there are no pauses built into the script. Thanks again for a phenomenal product. Tony

Tony The speech grammar for GA aircraft in the context of FSX ATC has been tweaked recently. It seems for the worse in this case. Download this file Unzip and manually replace "vGaAtcCtrlFsx.cfg" file in \Multi Crew Experience\CandC\ folder. As for faster execution of scripts, it's a much more complex task, and not entirely in our hands. All commands listed in the script are first submitted to the speech engine. MCE has to wait until they are processed (recognized buy the speech engine). It's a multi-threading process that is dependent on how many CPU cores you have, whether you are manually overriding CPU affinities and using such tweaks. As well as how many other add-ons are busy eating CPU cycles. We also are enforcing a minimum of 2 seconds delay between 2 consecutive tasks, even when there is no "Pause" in the script to make sure the flow isn't executed like a machine gun. February 18, 20188 yr Author Gerald, Thanks so much!!! The file fixed the problem. Incidentally the address to the link to the file didn't work but, I was able to figure it out and retrieve it. Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to more advancement with MCE.
