February 16, 20188 yr I did a fligt from KLAS to KIAH, with the 777. When I was on approach for ILS RWY 08R, I click LOC, then APP when it captured VOR/LOC. But, it says in yellow, NO AUTOLAND. I entered the ILS FREQ and CRS in the FMC correctly. The overhead was fine with no yellow lights. One thing to note is that I was going at about 216 Knots about 700 feet above the ground. Was that the problem?
February 16, 20188 yr Best place for this question is in the AVSIM PMDG 777 forum. Sounds like you were not established for the approach early enough, if you want the airplane to land for you (why would any pilot want that unless it is mandated for CATIII) you need to have it in a final approach configuration before 1500 AGL. However, I am only guessing at what your configuration was. By any chance have you flown the Tutorial? Dan Downs KCRP
