Been reading lately around the forums of folks having problems with addons after they moved from P3Dv4.1 to V4.2

I am about to take possession of a high end pc and install P3Dv4.2 software (that is IM not trying to make v3 version work in v4).

Thus with a clean install of v4.2 on a new machine, can i expect to be reasonably free of some of the issues that are being reported about?

Hopefully, my query makes sense...:-)
