I know, it is another one of the questions about freezing when loading, ctd's... I'm sorry. I couldn't find a post that fit the situation.I can load a flight in most areas of the world including the default flight.If I try to load a flight in the Midwest (I have tried DTW, MDW, PTK), fs hangs between 5% and 11% when loading scenery or terrain.I tried disabling scenery that I have in the area but that didn't work. I rebuilt the fs9.cfg and that didn't work. I check the scenery.cfg and everything is fine there. The only thing I have modified in the area recently was my KPTK afcad. I removed it and it still didn't work. I believe the last time I flew in this area everything was fine and I know I was able to load it up last week when I was working on the AFCAD.Does anybody have any idea about what causes problems at this point of flight loading.BTW, I am running GE and all fsg mesh and land class.

Hello,You can try : http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.htmlThis will trace all file accesses (you can use the filter option to your FS9 directory) so you may see the files involved in your problem.It did help me several times.hope it helps.

Thanks. I think I found it. I was using filemon before to investigate the issue but I didn't see anything. As it turns out, I wasn't allowing enough time for filemon to catch up with everything that was loading because the scroll was going so slow, I though it had stopped. I waited about 2 more minutes and other things did try to load. The last attempt was a EAM2004 bgl. I must have corrupted it a couple days ago when I was trying to remove statics. I disabled the scenery and now it works.Now why a BGL in Mexico has anything to do with DTW, I don't know.
