Aircraft Starts too Far Forward [ANSWERED]

Featured Replies

When I load the aircraft up at the gate, I notice that it starts much to far forward. Sometimes, my nose is in the terminal! Does anyone else have this issue, and are there any fixes? This happens at all airports with the Maddog, and not other aircraft.

Unfortunately I think there is nothing we can do.
Scenaries are generally designed for aircrafts like the 737, which have a relatively short distance between the wing (datum reference point) and the nose wheel.

The MD-80 main gear/wing/datum point is far behind, therefore the nose sticks out a bit more than the average airplane.

If we find a solution which doesn't require to shift datum point, messing up all the flight dynamics and other elements we'll definitely fix it.

All you need to do is hit shift+P and she'll back right up. Hit shift+P when you want her to stop.
