March 3, 20188 yr P3Dv4.2 Anyone know what might be causing the loss many taxiways etc? I thought it was ORBX, but after uninstalling all orbx nothing changes. I also have UTX installed. http://maidenbradley.com/PC1-2018-mar-3-001.jpg Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
March 3, 20188 yr Try deleting generated files in P3d main folder. ive noticed blurry scenery patches with 4.2 and orbx i have tried everything. i might revert back to 4.1 see if that helps. I hope as I do not want to reinstall. mike
March 4, 20188 yr Author Not much feedback on this, but it seems its definitely UTX thats the problem. Its happening at every airfield in Europe & North America, and when I uninstall both areas of UTX, the issue is gone. I guess UTX is either not fully compatible with P3Dv4.2 or it's a layering issue. Think I'll try reinstalling UTX and playing around with scenery order.... March 5, 20188 yr Dougal, I don't think it is the UTX that cause the problem. I have the same problem from v. 4.0 up to v. 4.2 with several European airports and I don't use any scenery add-on. https://imgur.com/a/t1Pnk Edited March 5, 20188 yr by riwig Richard Gustafsson [Started flying a couple of years ago. Its MyTraffic6 in my case. There MAYBE a way to fix it, as I've heard that some are using MT6 with P3Dv4.2 I've been installing MT6a using the XML method, and as soon as I add the scenery portion of the addon, it hides many taxi ways and textures. There's probably a way of installing without this happening, but i don't yet know how... March 5, 20188 yr Great, you might be on the right track. However, I don't use any scenery add-on or in your case MT. I have to dig deeper in to P3D and see what I can find. Richard Gustafsson [Started flying a couple of years ago. Now I'm addicted...]
March 5, 20188 yr I don't use MT, but if it installs AFCADS that are made for FSX, they will have to be converted into P3D AFCADS. FSX AFCADS have a different flag for taxiways, so they don't appear in P3D v3 or v4. Devin CYOW

March 5, 20188 yr How about moving MT6 further down in the scenery.cfg file? I know that it causes issues for me in its default location with sometimes having multiple towers at some airports. Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale
