Defined Panel states

If I use one of the defined panel states - default, short turn, long turn - how do I know where to start on the checklists?

Rob,

The Checklist always start with the preflight one no matter which provided panel state you use. However depending on the panel state you will be needing to do steps before even doing the preflight checklist.

You need to go over FCOM vol 1 regarding the electrical power up procedures and set up procedures.
