Hi All, I've had the NGX since August, when it cam out, and it works fine, until the HGS stopped working. I had to uninstall FSX, and the NGX. I put it back on about two weeks ago, and the HGS Isn't working. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Hi guys, has anyone submitted a support ticket today an had any replies?Just that i did this morning and i know there is a big time difference between there and the UK but im kind of waiting for a new link as i do have the extended servies but i uninstalled my NGX earlier to reinstall it and then place the SP1 over the top . But when i got to my account my URL link has expired,, So im kind of left at the moment with no plane at all Regards Steve

Hi all,This is just for the record. System specs are at the bottom of this note. I've tried more than two dozen flights but *all* have frozen and CTD'd or just CTD'd. All but 3 of the flights followed the tutorial. Some CTDs were while on the ground, some during the takeoff roll, most in the air. All setup instructions from the Introduction that can be implemented have been implemented. As the PMDG MD-11, 747X, & J41 all work fine, I'm going to assume there is a PEBKAC and put the 737NGX aside for a while and watch this forum for a while. (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair == PEBKC). Hi guys, Just took some nice screenies with my ATI card controlling FSX. Seems to be alot smoother than FSX controlling it..Regards Steve .

:( Happy New Year all!Loving my SP1b 737NGX by PMDG! Only small issue, as stated in the title, is the N1 and Speed buttons never seem to light up when I left-click on them? Does anyone know what could be happening there? When should those buttons be able to be clicked on (and light up and remain lit)? Seems I can't do it at ANY time pre-CMD A or afterwards, with both FD's on...Anyone with an idea how I could troubleshoot or resolve, please advise? Thank youins!Robert -

I'm sure when i say this i am speaking for most if not all in this forum, PMDG are one of the best fs addon development companies and are very busy with the pending release of the 737 NGX. All these posts about will it be today or won't it is silly really, because we all know that it will be here when it's ready. Let PMDG live up to there name "PERFECTION".

Hi everybody! This is my first post, so take it easy please... I recently bought the NGX and I am pleased to say that it is simply mind blowing!!! Every single switch and knob can be pressed and turned, the paint in the cockpit has been chipped off and dust covers the FMC, and then there's that sound.... Anyway enough stating the obvious, how do I turn on the HUD? I click it, but it just comes down, but the fighter-jet like green diagrams don't appear?.. What am I doing wrong? I certainly hope it's not an issue with the airplane...

To all ATI card users, just alittle bit of info i have come across today. I have an ATI card and driver version 11.9 was released this evening. In regards to the NGX i have noticed slight increase on performance about 5% and when i go outside now i don't seem to get that skeleton effect. Just remember this maybe something in my system so i urge people not to take this as fact but i thought i would share. Regards Stevie

Well for a very long time i've been searching for a replica model of the 737NGX. Out of pure choice i don't fly anything else in FSX apart from the 737 series. But now i will be able to sit back and admire the full detail and fantastic looks of this new plane we will be getting from PMDG in several day's. This may come across alittle petty but one of the most annoying things that's always bugged me with previous versions of this aircraft, is the shape and look of the engine intakes.. But now i can take a chill pill as it's on this new aircraft. Another one was the black stripe on the wing, with other aircraft this always seemed blured when on the wing view but not now its perfectly designed to perfection.

Having spent the last 30 minutes flying around Manhattan X, I'd like to start with a huge THANK YOU to the team for this amazing work of art! Three years has finally paid off and the result really is quite magical! Back on topic... I've come across a few users now, who like myself, have external hardware which at this stage is not compatible with the NGX. I'd like to ask what kind of release timescale we are looking at with the SDK, alongside the other variant releases. Having an NG home cockpit, the NGX is pretty much useless to me without these hardware drivers, at least from Saitek and GoFlight... I understand that the SDK will be available to hardware developers only, and that they must distribute drivers FOC. Obviously this immeadiately rules out any idea for interfacing an overhead panel, for example. Your thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.

Hi This question is maybe a bit stupid. But working in 2D I can not view FMC, overhead panel, throtteles and etc. These things were added like a tiny buttons ...shortcuts...where are they now or how to get to FMC i 2D, 737 NGX. gura75

Well, I finally splurged, and bought the 737NGX, and she is wonderful! I really like it! Now, do teh add-on liveries from the library also equip the aircraft as the respective airline does? Also, it said that the 600/700WL will come out 4-8 weeks after the base pack, is it coming soon?

I have been playing about with all sorts of settings today..I used to have my ATI ccc settings to appilcation controlled.but last night i changed all that and asked the graphics card to control instead.I now have AA set to x8 and filter on wide tent x16AF x4i have anti - aliasing unchecked in FSXand triliner setim getting about 10%more perfoemcance at built up areas such as mega airports etc. average about 28 - 29 FPS in most cases alittle drop still in dense traffic but only down to about 25fpsThis is brilliant i guess it is not the case for most but thought i'd share..i did notice that the typo in the NGX was not blurry anymore through these settings very sharp and crispRegards Steve..Still testing so

I can Autoland CATIII at other airports where the runways are designated as CATIII capable, but in 2 different flights from EBBR to EGLL, I was unable to have both CMD a/p buttons remaining lit during final approach and the CATiii landing failed in both cases.Does anyone know what I might have done wrong? Configured Runway Length for 27R at Heathrow on the HUGS setup panel 12798 feet Entered Runway Altitude in HUGS panel 79 feet Confirmed 3 degree GLS in HUGS panel Selected PRI in MODE for HUGS panel STBY AIII ARM in HUGS panel Set CRSE both seats for 271 degreesSet NAV1 and NAV2 both for 110.30 hzFollowing the above for other airports such as CYVR (Vancouver Int'l) the plane autolands including flare just fine. I simply push the nose down following touchdown and engage the reverse thrusters and then the brakes - spot on.None of this works as I expect at Heathrow.The A/P switches from Capt to FO (they will NOT both remain lit, even during the very final portion of the approach)Any suggestions will be most welcome - thanks.If perchance there is NO Cat3 capability at EGLL, I'd love to hear it, but that disagrees with what my other resources say.

Hi all, so the issue is very difficult to explain maybe if y'all see it y'all me have a better idea so I going to try my best to have it written well. So I have been flying with PMDG 737NGX for FSX and all my airspeed reading where correct cruising at .79 which is roughly around 484kts... I recently installed the Aerosoft Airbus a319-21 first couple of flights have been successful but as of recently it's all messed up, when cruising with both aerosoft and pmdg + other freeware airplanes my plane would try to cruise at a slow speed so on the autopilot panel it will say .80 Mach speed but on the pfd I'm am literally slowing down and going .45 which is very odd and sometimes disconnecting the auto throttle helps no little so I am very sure it may be the Airbus but at the same could be something else. So far I'm yet to find the issue but I am going to attempt deleting the FSX folder in %appdata%/roaming/Microsoft/fsx and see if that works . If anyone has any other suggestions or why this is happening please leave something below this would be very great full. Thanks in advance. Also I'll post some pictures later to show what I mean

Hi guy's i brought the plane when it was released, but today i have taken it upon myself to do a complete reboot of windows, just wanted a good fresh installation. So i also had this issue of activating my product again.Here is what i did to get around it. Copy your serial key, then when your in fsx and you prompt to type your activation key in, "don't type it or right click the mouse hoping it will allow you to paste it it won't ". click the mouse cursor in the white blank box, then very quickly ctrl+v then immediatly after have your mouse ready to press activate button on the right. you may need to does this a couple of times . Sounds messed up i know but it really did work for me, but you have got to be mega quick. i think PMDG are solving this issue anyway but try it .. Ste

Hello Everyone- Does anyone have any suggestions for a way to do fuel calculations for the 737NGX? I have found this one (http://fuel.aerotexas.com/). However, it does not appear to be that accurate and you can't enter in load info, etc. -Thanks

OK- I'm asking for some help. First, my hat is off and my wallet is about to open (to donate) to LINDA Developers! GREAT program, far better than the drivel that Logitech provides ("T.A.R.G.E.T.") or FSUIPC alone. As a budding PMDG 737NGX pilot I have been steadily climbing the hardware acquisitions ladder. At present Linda is joyfully controlling my 737NGX via my Logitech HOTAS Warthog Throttle and Joystick Combo. As an aside, I would love to have LINDA be able to fully recognize and implement the quite inexpensive Logitech G13 Gamepad. The G13 has 22 G-buttons and 3 Shift modes, that means about 66 buttons in total, plus an LED READOUT! and a mini-joystick. Linda "sees" this as a 1-button 0-hat device (wrong!). If it could be added to the list of supported gamepads for LINDA, I would personally donate $50 to Linda developers! How fair is that?I think LINDA is a very fine product and a HUGE addition to FSX.All encouragement to the developer team - and please add full support for the G13 as you have for the Warthog!Robert
