I hate to ask a noob question, but I decided to try the tutorials for the PMDG 737-800 for Prepar3d. I bought TOPCAT for the 2nd tutorial and I'm using Active sky for Prepar3d and for the life of me I can't seem to find wx_snapshot.txt. I'm using Windows 10 if that helps. I've tried everywhere I can think of. Can someone help me in the right direction.

Try the user profiles folder:  yourusername/appdata/roaming/hifi/as_p3dv4/weather. Make sure you have "view hidden folders/files" enabled.

hi

in active sky go to options->general options->common data export path

and it will show you where it is writing that file. by default it should be about where tamsini said..

the file itself that is written is called current_wx_snapshot.txt perhaps that might also be a source of confusion

cheers,-andy crosby
