I am flying the tfdi 717 with TrackIR/ChasePlane and the Captain view sets the zoom to 55.  I prefer 50 and sometimes 44.  I set it to either of these using the space bar and mouse center button.  However, within a few seconds the camera returns to 55.  Is there a way to control that so it won't change my camera zoom?

you have to set those controls in ChasePlane and remove them from the simulator.
