Unable to start QW757-3

Recommended Posts

I have seen people have problems with this, but they get a -2 or a -4 warning.

I have a -3 warning so whats going on?

Everything works fine. The engines are fine, the flaps move and the bottom engine display works, but the FMC and every other display are black, or they say ERR: Startup Error!!!! Unable to start QW 757-3.

I'm using SP3 which is the latest service pack, so idk what to do.

I also have the latest version of the Stand-alone addon manager from FSDT and just downloaded a new installer from FSDT so i'm sure that its the latest version.

Also, people told me download a latha font and put it in fonts folder in P3D, i did that, yet to no avail.

In FSX Steam I press ALT and reset the flight and it fixes the problem.

This may be a silly question, but what version of Prepar3D are you running?

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that QualityWings has released a 64-bit version that would work with P3Dv4, so you'll want to be sure that you're not trying to wedge the aircraft onto a platform that it's not capable of running on yet.

My apologies if you knew that already, but I couldn't tell which version of P3D you were on by the screenshot.

Good luck!

But what do you mean when you press ALT? I just press it and a menu pops up on the top of my screen.

Go to the left hand side of that menu and click *flight* when the drop down menu appears - click *reset flight*.

Interesting I hope that you can get it going because I didn't think that the B757 would work in P3D. it would be great if it did.
