As I mentioned earlier, this is the absolute last resort. This is the option you come to only when you have exhausted all other options. This is the option of "oh man, I found a spider in the basement - I should just burn the house down."

Only reformat when it is recommended by a developer, or someone who knows what they're doing. A lot of people will tell you to reformat because it's easier in some cases to just tell you that instead of going through the effort of helping you fix the issue, or because they don't know the answer.

Personally, I would play it safe....and buy a completely new PC, and a new house to put it in. Just to be sure :wink:
