P3D v4: Odd rain textures

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

My P3D v4 has very weird rain textures. I think this happened since installing Envtex. I tried disabling Rain in Envtex and applying, but that didn't change anything unfortunately.

Did anyone else have this issue and how did you fix it? Maybe someone has the original rain texture file and can upload it here :)

My drivers are up-to-date.

Add-ons:

ORBX stuff, Envtex, AS4 and ASCA, PTA.

Thanks in advance

If you do a content repair it will restore your original rain textures.

Shouldn't disabling rain restore these textures already?

You don't know what happened, if the original textures are corrupted the only way to get them back is by doing a repair.

I tried repairing the textures in Envtex, but uninstalling gives me an error that Envtex can't find certain files in the ASCA folder. Any other way to get the rain to default again? Envtex isn't coöperating lol

Sorry to hear about your troubles, if you do a P3D content repair it will restore all the simulator default textures, including the rain textures.

I would open a support ticket with Envtex to find out how to uninstall it entirely from your system despite of this error as and it looks like you need to repair this software anyway.

I'm having the exact same issue after installing Envtex. Did you solve the issue and if so, how did you manage to get rid of this awful rain?
