concorde glitch

Featured Replies

hi all,I have concorde Professional (just flight), and i have a big problem. It seems that when i look at the aircraft from the outside, the aircraft starts jumping and creating smoke from the landing gear, when it's not moving. When i land, looking behind the aircraft just after touch down for a better view, the aircraft starts to shake vilontly. When i have parked, and looking at the aircraft from the outside, the aircraft starts jumping again and lundges forwards, and crashes.what is happening?thanks, robbie

Hi Robbie,Have you tried unchecking "gradual transition" in spot view options? I think that should probably solve the jumping around that one can encounter with some planes.J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgium

Hi Robbie,You actually have the PSS Concorde. Just Flight made the CD version of the PSS Concorde. Therefore I suggest you visit the PSS Forum (located on AVSIM) and ask your question and/or search messages within that forum.Best regards,JimYoung

Jim,PSS don't answer questions on products not sold by them. Only the downloaded version. He needs to go to the 'Just Flight' forum for support?

cheers guys, that helped alot! :)Just flight support are rubbish, so i prefer to go to this forum because reliability is good.robbie(visit my new site, desting for members)

>PSS don't answer questions on products not sold by them. Only>the downloaded version.Thats not completely true Dave. Many occassions the question being asked is in regards to the Just Flight installers, patches or similar which naturally we cant answer. As simmers though if we can, and generally the same questions are asked and answered regularly, answer then we will.

well, when i eventually got time to do this, it didn't work. The jumping continued and i still can't taxi safely.robbie

well, (sorry for the double post)i managed to get a couple of screen shots of this happening...crash.jpgcrash2.jpglook very closely at the first one. The second one is very confuesing, I tried balancing the weight, everything. But this is very worrying.(sorry again if they are big.)robbie

Looks like you have a modified airport and I suggest you turn off crashes as the aircraft appears to be sunk in the tarmac. If you indicate what airport you're at, maybe someone can direct you to a better AFCAD or a fix for the aircraft sinking. The second picture represents the aircraft crashing and breaking up. If you turn off crashes, you won't have this problem. Hope this helps.Best regards,JimYoung

yup, sure looks like a scenery error. Probably a patch of non-hardened ground on the ramp causing the aircraft to sink into the ground and flip over.Seen that in different scenery with several aircraft (including sometimes default).

but do you guys encounter the aircraft jumping around ONLY when you look at it from the outside? When i have the cockpit view on, this doesn't happen.robbie

it happens, it's just not as violent and feels more like a bump in the road. And remember that the Concorde is far more sensitive to such things than most aircraft. Long stilts, relatively narrow wheelbase, high taxispeed, you want things to be smooth and clean.

sometimes this happens with the FS9 default 747-400.cheers, robbie
