You’re welcome to your opinion but the -200LR wasn’t a replacement for the -200ER. It was an ultra long range version very few airlines bought. The economics don’t work on shorter routes. I think both versions are still available to order but neither has been produced since 2014.

I’d definitely buy a -200ER expansion of the -200LR base product but if it was a full price new addon I would probably not consider buying it.
