April 25, 20188 yr Hello, are there any possibilities to export flightpans to the new MADDOG X from Leonardo (*.mdr)? If it's not possible now, are there intentions to implement this feature ? greetings Gerolamo kind regards, ggerolamo
April 25, 20188 yr Hi Gerolamo, you have example files or documentation for the format? Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

April 25, 20188 yr Thanks. Looks easy. But why is every waypoint DIRECT? Strange. Does the FMC restore the airways when you load this file? Can you store a flight plan with SID, STAR and an approach and post it here? Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
April 25, 20188 yr Author In the maddog load-manager I can import the flight plan in p3d-format (*.pln) ! After import I can save the flight plan as *.mdr format - to be used in fmc - thats the result above ! But I also can enter the flight plan manually via load manager (analog to the fmc entry) - then the result is as expected: Spoiler LSZH EIDW DIRECT DITON 47.302222 8.333333 UL613 DIDOR 49.313611 3.281944 UT10 ALESO 50.575556 1.225556 UT420 BIG 51.330875 0.034811 UL9 KENET 51.520556 -1.455000 UN14 MEDOG 51.950278 -3.549444 UL18 LIPGO 53.063917 -5.500000 obviously both results can be used in the fmc.... !? greetings Gerolamo Edited April 25, 20188 yr by ggerolamo kind regards, ggerolamo
April 25, 20188 yr Seems that the import of PLN removes the airways. I think I can add the mdr format to the export for 2.0 but no promise. I recently added export formats that are similar. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
April 26, 20188 yr Commercial Member The reason FMCs often use LAT/LON/ICAO and no Airway is because downloaded routes and manually created routes from any kind of AIRAC, items don't necessarily exist in the navdata in the FMCs.
