Nice aircraft, now the startup challenge begins

Featured Replies

Hi guy's,

I anticipated this Saab340 very much, but now that i have it....i can not fly. :-)

Is there somewhat of a tutorial (for example to startup the engines) out there?

I got the engines running once, but the torque kept on max after start and the aircraft rolled out right through the parking brakes.....not to stop.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks in advance, kind regards,

Ben

I got that quite often with Carenado airplanes. If I recall correctly, the trick is to move the fuel lever quite a while after the engine has started. I think one can see that in an F50 startup tutorial, for instance.

Also, a work-around is to cur off fuel and then immediately restart the engine, then they work fine.
