I think this points out something I said over in the demise of FSW thread, about how you need an aviation supergeek at the head of any successful flight sim. I don't think this is just a business for Austin. He's the kind of guy that would be fooling around with models hung out a car window for aerodynamic tests, even if he wasn't selling consumer software. At the end of the video, there is a comment about "if we only had a wind tunnel." It seems to me, it wouldn't be difficult to rig an ad-hoc wind tunnel in the garage with cardboard or aluminum sheeting for the "tunnel" and a big industrial fan. Especially if all he needs is 15mph winds. That would allow models of varying shapes, and faster test results.
