May 5, 20188 yr Hello, I feel when I fly the B777 the instruments are not in the best resolution, even it is in high. the ECL multiple times is difficult to click and pass to the next CL item, seems that the mouse is too fast or not precise, sometimes the item delay to be checked after the click and I click again and return to not checked. Is there a way to solve this glitches? Is it my computer is not powerful enough for FSX-SE? my hardware is: Processor: Intel Core i3-7100 CPU @3.90GHz, 2 Core, 4 logical Processors RAM: 16 GB Windows 10 PRO-64 GPU: 4 Saphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 SSD: 250 GB Thanks in advance
May 5, 20188 yr Please notice that PMDG requires all of your posts to be signed with your full name per forum rules. Concerning the resolution make sure that your simulator's resolution matches the res of your screen and that the width-to-height ratio is correct, especially between 16:9 and 16:10 which looks almost the same but may result in a bad readability. It's normal that the cursor on the ECL is slower, it's a mouse movement calculated into a gauge, that requires a lot of CPU power, all above in FSX and an i3 CPU might be a bit weak to do that. ,
May 5, 20188 yr You didn’t mention what zoom factor you use in the VC. The more zoomed out the less the effective resolution of the DU will be which won’t help things. At higher zoom it’s easier to keep the mouse in the ECL click zones. Alternatively you could use the zoomed 2D popup of the DU when using the ECL.
May 5, 20188 yr There is a small input lag when using the ECL. At least with my machine on any settings. If this lag is longer than 1 sec I would start to worry below that threshold you're good.
