May 7, 20188 yr I have P3D v3, Chaseplane updated to 0.4.204. I haven't used P3D for a little while, I was hoping to do some training but apparently I can't use TrackIR head tracking with the on-board and outside cameras, the static camera is fine. I have tried to switch "Head tracking" on/off, but that doesn't solve the problem. Restarting everything neither. I tried to switch on/off a few other options without more success. If I switch "Head tracking" off in the static camera view, then it's disabled as the two other camera modes so this option seems to work only for the static camera. What could be wrong? For now I can't really use P3D in that state. Tom Ross System specs: Win7 x64 | CPU: i7-4770K | RAM: 16 GB | GPU: GTX 980 Ti 6 GB | Thrustmaster HOTAS | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
May 7, 20188 yr Commercial Member Hi Tom, Make sure you have P3D updated to the latest version available on the P3D website! Let me know if that was the issue! Regards, Keven Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
May 7, 20188 yr Author I'm not sure, they mainly talk about V4 and not V3 anymore so I must have the latest or pretty close (not much time to chase those versions for now, let alone update P3D). But the problem was apparently happening when I launched P3D without launching Chaseplane first. I can just disable this option and make sure to start Chaseplane before P3D. Strange that it would work for some cameras and not others. Tom Ross System specs: Win7 x64 | CPU: i7-4770K | RAM: 16 GB | GPU: GTX 980 Ti 6 GB | Thrustmaster HOTAS | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
