Propeller pitch reverse and power back
Another pitfall is failing to put the prop levers full forward, I had an epic time witnessing a single flash on the yellow bulbs, then nothing and the aircraft thrusting forward even though the throttle was in the reverse zone. And wondering why. Now I'm pretty sure that was my mistake! And yes, do not brake in reverse, this would be most awkward

Pushback functional or cosmetic?
This is for future reference, I suppose the OP author has found a solution since then While pushback wasn't necessary in the past, most parking areas today make it unavoidable, and the way X-plane positions aircraft follows those modern settings. So it is quite awkward not to have it in many airports, unless you can master a reverse-thrust pushback. For who doesn't want to do the reverse: I have tried the free EZ Pushback plug-in which has been working just fine so far. It doesn't feature any 3D model of a tug pushback tractor, it's only the pushback/pull functionality. It allows you to steer manually if necessary. Only caveat being the binaries are only provided for the Windows and Ubuntu Linux platforms, but it is open-source and can be compiled on other OS'es. There are of course alternatives, among which JARDesign's TugMaster Deluxe (that I haven't tried, only seen in one video). Hope it helps.

xcamera definitions for DC6
I find X-Camera a great add-on, really, much easier to setup than EZdok. I don't have a DC-6 configuration yet though, I'll make sure to post one. Bill, you just have to create another camera and set it as "external" if you want to see the whole model of the aircraft from outside, otherwise it only shows what is visible from the cockpit. Was that your question? Could anyone tell me whether it's possible to disable those head movements occuring each time one touches the brakes? Is that possible with or without X-Camera?

Stuttering problem
It depends on what you call stuttering, just to make sure, do you mean it runs at a reasonable framerate (for X-Plane, that is, so 20-30 or better, on a very good graphics card) but every now and then it stops for 100 ms to several seconds, then goes on, freezes again, and so on? I could solve those problems on other programs like DCS or P3D by moving to an SSD, but this is not enough for X-Plane, apparently the problem is deeper with this one. And you are also using an SSD, so you should be safe from disk fragmentation (maybe not cache read-ahead optimizations, but I don't believe this would have much to do here anyway). The greatest contribution to a smoother experience I had so far is disabling the "Threaded optimization" in the nVidia Control Panel. But you mentioned straight away that you had this off. Traffic off also helps a little bit. And you could try this, to reduce the impact of auto-gen and rule that out: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/30175-x-plane-fps-booster/ To be honest, I haven't tried it yet. Perhaps an intermediate step would be to test in which area those stutterings are happening, and are at their worst - near cities, does that also happen in plain country, above the sea... ? Regarding other suggestions, I wouldn't turn off vsync in X-Plane, as it gives very ugly frame shearing. The best is to enable triple buffering in nVidia Control Panel, and sync to monitor in X-Plane. This won't affect significantly the framerate and disconnect the rendering engine from the synchronization. Good luck! I hope they'll improve the parallelism in 10.50. And the loading time, for now that's what is discouraging me from experimenting more, having to wait for minutes between each change of settings is painful.

EZdok Camera not cycling through views for all aircraft
Thanks! In the mean time I found there was an "EXCLUDED FROM CYCLE LIST=false" settings I could put in the view .ini files, but this C button is much more convenient  And if you read again my question, you'll see that (1) from the screenshot those keys have been redefined, and (2) they were also checked in P3D and other add-ons  Thanks though, the C button was indeed what I needed - it is not mentioned in the manual since it's apparently not updated anymore, I could have tried all the new features and finally find out, but thought asking would be safer. I'm not so sure. Why do you write keyboard with a caps K in the middle of a sentence? (And yes, that was irony, I could perfectly understand TheNerd's VERY helpful tip )

EZdok Camera not cycling through views for all aircraft
Hello! I've installed EZdok camera 1.18.7 in P3D v3.2 a few days ago, and defined a few views for a couple aircraft (1st screenshot), but there seems to be a problem when switching views with the keys I've defined in the settings (2nd screenshot). The keys (Num3 Num9 Num1 and Num7) are not used by P3D, or any other add-on. In fact, on the first aircraft, they work just fine, I can use Num7/Num1 to switch from virtual cockpit to aircraft and so on, and I can use Num9/Num3 to switch between views in each category. But on the 2nd aircraft, that I defined in another session, only the Num7/Num1 are working, I cannot switch between rear/left/right aircraft view in the example below. If I reload the first aircraft and try again, it still works as before. So this seems linked to the definition created by EZdok, not something that broke off at some point. The manual does not show those settings, and doesn't cover that functionality. I haven't found a solution yet elsewhere, has anyone had this problem? This program is most confusing, I must say, it would really deserve a complete interface revamp :/ Thanks for any help you can provide!

phantom shadows on airplanes
I confirm, same bug here, it's really annoying. I tried to get a few screenshots but it should really be recorded, has anyone tried? I don't have the tools for this. EDIT: done, I've reported the bug here with a video: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=118074
