That'll help break things up even more and you won't even notice the banding, or what's left of it. I'm sure it looks fine. Mine wouldn't look too good just blank either. Good point about the gauges, I shall just make the depressions (is that what you call them lol...the insets in which the gauges fit thats what I meant!) and then throw in the guages!
