ok got key ran rc ok update data base get the above error,what I have done so installed latest makerwys into p3d4 main folder installed lorby created a dummy fse.exe but still get the same error message any help just about to give up on rc4.

Where is P3D v4 installed? C:\Program Files or directly under C:\.

Glad you’re sorted out. It always helps if version numbers of programs are given. I wrongly assumed you already had v4.3 of RC4.
