upgrade error

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Just tried to download the latest update and got this error......5:20001...contact support.  I'm pretty sure its related to a las vegas airport that i downloaded, killed, and then downloaded again.  Would it be best just to hose the entire xplane installation and start fresh?  I don't have any addons other than data from navigraph.

chapter two.....

bought a new SSD drive, loaded windows 10, tried to install xplane and immediately got the same 5:20001   I asked this question under the support forum on X-plane 11 website, but no answers.  Is there a direct email support address I should be using to try to resolve this?

If you are installing from scratch, have you tried the latest installer?

Yes....same result....I'm going to reformat my drive again tonight, reload 64 bit windows, and download again.  But if this happens again, then I'm at a total loss as to what I can do.

SOLVED …. turns out router was blocking the update from the server.  Bypassed the router and everything loaded fine.  Not sure just yet why the router wouldn't allow the update when it did allow the initial download and installation, but for now...all is well....Happy Days !
