FSX PMDG 737 hangs and crashes on loading

Featured Replies

I am running PMDG 737 NGX.  If I load a flight which was saved during the first few minutes of a flight, everything is fine. Loading a save from later on, e.g. top of descent, results in the system hanging at 4% "Loading scenery object" and crashes to desktop. Any ideas?

Was there a crash report showing a faulting module?  I'm not sure what all was loaded when you saved the flight earlier.  ActiveSky?  Maybe you have to load that too.

I like the new QualityWings 787.  They have a neat feature where you can "jump to" any waypoint in your flight plan, including the TOD.  I jumped to several during a flight and it showed the "Loading Scenery Objects" and loaded the flight to the altitude and waypoint I selected.  Wish PMDG would come up with this option.
