July 10, 200619 yr Man, I cannot believe how great and realistic the sounds are for this aircraft. Thanks guys! However, I have a huge problem getting the panel installed. Cant figure out what it is Im doing wrong. I have read and re-read the instructions and it still comes up all incorrect. Only bits and pieces showing. Any pointers would be appreciated!Again, thanks for such a great old airplane!ET
July 10, 200619 yr ET, please take no offense, but I think the sounds are rather lacking. I've worked around 737-200s at KCLE for Delta and I feel the sounds included are nothing like the real deal. Check this soundpack out:http://www.flightxpress.de/files/0105/Flug..._040210.snd.zipI'm in the process of trying to find the most realistic soundset for the -200. I'm going to evaluate soundsets by William Mac Jr Kalon Jeffries, Christoffer Petersen, and Erick Cantu. I can let you all know which sounds the best.
July 10, 200619 yr Alright everyone, listening to these soundsets I've figured out that Erick Cantu's soundset is the best out there (it has that unmistakable 737-200 JT8D whine). We would get MD-88s and 737-200s at KCLE for Delta and although they sound similiar, I still can tell the difference between the two. To get the soundset, look at my aprevious post or you can get it at the other fs site (flightsim.com) and search for 732sns.zip
July 10, 200619 yr Really? Well, you would know since youve worked around them so much. I guess what I really liked about the sounds were the way that they seem to react so much more realistic like the Eagle Soft Citation X does-you can push the throttle forward and you get a neat realistic lag time and then rush of whine. I have not heard it modeled very well in FS other than these two a/c but then again I dont play around with diff. sound sets too often either. I will check out the ones you pointed to.
