July 11, 200619 yr what do you make of it? i have tested and i like the look of it. Do you know how to get it to display 'within' FS?
July 17, 200619 yr well - i have to admit i am a bit peeved with this program. I will contact the makers soon for some assistance but i will ask here first as these forums do tend to be much more helpful in the long run. Anyone know much about the program?
July 18, 200619 yr Yeah I tried it but then dumped it...It looks like a nice idea but to make it work it I would have had to change all the format of my flightplan files and make sure there were no duplicate AC# numbers etc... That's around 30,000 flights at the last count so I uninstalled and forgot! There's an "in sim" traffic viewer from one of the MS FS SDK packs and it's apparently ok but I use the one that came with Traffic2004 (the only part of that package I'm still using in fact)Good luck with Genix if you're going to try getting it to work...Cheers,Geoff
July 19, 200619 yr Thanks Geoff and others. I have emailed Genix about this as i like you thought "oh that sounds good" and the demo looked ok but lacked features. So, i paid for the privelege of 2 hours reading and re-reading the manual and going over and over my ai flights. The thing is now "working" - in that it shows ai but heaven only knows where its getting them from. I was sat at southampton intl looking at the ai and comparing to the timetable and suddenly i noticed an Aitalia taxiing!! checked my timetable and either the staff at southampton were being rubbish and not putting up the right names or (and actually more likely) the program is not configured correctly. I wonder why they designed it to read the traffic.bgls - hopefully they will make the thing work with FSUIPC - Traffic lookup that works a treat and never lies to me. Geoff - does Traffic 2004 have a similar layout? and will it report on my own flightplans that i have created aswell as PAi ones or is it just to show traffic 2004 flights?cheers
