active camera demo

Featured Replies

hi all!i just downloaded active camera and wanted to test it.i load my flight at ksea, have the 9.1 patch installed and have the latest fsuipc but it wont work...i can press any of the shortcut but nothing happens.what am i doing wrong? thx in advancegreets burt

Not sure, if there is a manual included with the demo, but you should be able to see the effects with active camera, if you switch to the VC in FS9, select "External View" from the AC menu and de-select "Internal View". You should be able to move around outside the cockpit with the Num-keys. Alternatively in the VC, you should be able to move around inside of the plane by selecting "Internal View" in the AC menu.Of course, there are many more ways to play with AC, but that would be a start.Good luck,Pat

MenuOptions->Active Camera 2004->Internal View.Check that option. Then change to View mode to VC. Now, you should have head latency. When you are rolling on the runway for takeoff... you will see the movement. If you see that.. then your active camera is working.Ofcourse..the demo will work only within KSEA (Seattle) 15 or 20 mile radius. So start your aircraft frm KSEA and try taking off from there and fly around and land back in KSEA.Manny
