Can't reinstall MFSX on my computer with WIN 10

Featured Replies

Hi All. I am new to the forum, so please be patient with me.

I have had FSX on my computer for several years. I wanted to remove and reinstall and just have the default aircraft. I removed it and when I tried to reinstall, depending on how I try to install it, I get error messages. One tells me the install wizard will not work. Another tells me I don't have enough memory. I have tried all the solutions I can find on the internet, so now I am turning to the forum for assistance. There must be some trick I am not aware of to make the game install and run.

Here is what I am running on my computer:

Processor: AMD A4-5000 APU with Radeon HD Graphics, 1.50 Ghz.

RAM: 8 GB

TYPE: 64bit

OS: Windows 10

If there is no way to make FSX work, will Flight Gear 2018 work on this system or do I need to go buy a new computer system?

Thanks in advance.

If you are getting error messages when trying to reinstall, the following topic might provide some assistance - https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/540097-fsx-error-1722-and-1603-what-is-the-solution/.  FSX will work on Windows 10.
