August 14, 20187 yr Hello, I received this error today when trying to load the RealAir Legacy, Milviz C310 and Milviz Beaver. I'm guessing it's a shared resource somewhere missing since it's different addon companies' aircraft giving me the issue. This is in v4.3. Thoughts? August 14, 20187 yr cGaugeSoundClasss is the wrapper I wrote for DirectSound. It's used in the various editions of my xml sound gauge. The failure is occurring when the gauge tries to initiate the voice communication device. Check in the sound control panel applet to make sure there are no issues with whichever device you have configure for voice communications. The gauge will cheerfully fall back to using the sound device if it is the only device on the system. Doug
August 14, 20187 yr Author Thanks for the quick response Doug. My monitor has built in speakers (which I don't use) and someone it was selected as my primary communications device. I disabled it and all is good now. Thanks again.
