August 18, 20187 yr I have been using P3D v4.2 for several months now without any issues. Yesterday, I tried to plan a flight using the P3D flight planner, but when I pressed "save" nothing Happened. After a few minutes, I hit "save" again, and the program closed down on its own. This was intriguing, so instead, I just loaded a flight at the departure airport, and knowing many of the waypoints along the way, I programmed the FMC and P3D worked perfectly normal. After the flight I restarted P3D and again tried to save a flight plan, and it failed again. The only 2 things that are different from before this problem arose was: 1, Installed latest Windows 10 update 2. Installed Updated Fly Tampa TNCM for p3Dv4 (which by the way was the destination airport that failed to save). I would be most grateful, if you can provide me with some insight into this dilemma, and any recommendation. Edited August 18, 20187 yr by Bob Marton Robert Marton
August 18, 20187 yr Are you starting up P3Dv4 with Admin Privileges for All Users? Did you install all products with Admin Privileges? Because it sounds like your system will not allow the saved flight plan to be saved in a protected folder. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! August 18, 20187 yr Author Thanks Jim, All programs that I loaded was installed as Administrator and every time I start P3D I get a popup window that asks me if I want to run it as an Administrator. To which I reply, yes. Robert Marton
