Hello,

I would like to know if I were to purchase the boxed version 777-200 base package for P3D via Aerosoft and then later purchased the 777-300ER package as a download from PMDG, are there any compatibility or support issues to be concerned about between these two vendors/media?

I assume I would have to approach one or the other supplier should I have a support question or an issue depending upon the PMDG model in question.

What about PMDG updates to these packages? I understand Aerosoft receives their updates typically a few days later than the direct PMDG updates but I imagine this is connected to how frequently the Operations Center is updated.

Does anyone have experience here of this situation or advice/comments to offer?

There is no incompatibilities issues. Aerosoft DVD is the same installer from our store.

All support regarding issues is done by us (PMDG), unless if this has to do with actual DVD issue or lost licenses which is handled by them, no matter if you bought it from Aerosoft or us.

If the update is through the Operations Center then this is immediate on all customers no matter where it was bought as it is done by us. If it is an update that requires full installer update then the updated installer is sent some days after to aerosoft in order to update it on their store.
