hi,

As seen from the screen shot the runway is totally obscured due to the papi lights due to which i am unable to line up with the runway as i cannot identify how the runway oriented VISUALLY. can anybody suggest a work for these high intensity papi lights. At night, it is easier as the runway is light up, but during day time i experience this problem.

many thanks for advise.

Do you have this entry under [Display] in your FSX.cfg?  You may be able to adjust the approach lights so they are not so bright.

RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=1.2
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=1.0
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=1.2
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=1.2

The snapshot was taken after putting the above entries in fsx.cfg file . Still they appear big.

The trick is to adjust the numbers to see if it helps.

I've found that, with my 3 screen setup the runway lights and PAPI lights look huge like the OPs, I added those lines into my CFG many years ago and they fixed it. But after installing REX textures and REX Airports, the huge lights return, so I have to reinstall various original FSX light files to fix the problem (every time I  install REX textures). Its not hassle really, since I dont do it very often. I found the 'Landing Light Fix' on this forum a few years ago ....
