Yep, don't plan to, not my type of sand.

Keep an open mind Eric... as a minimum don't base your opinion on a product or idea before it's implemented.

the default scenery in SA is terrible and I don‘t have any addon sceneries there.

Hi Marc:

Just as a suggestion to improve your "Latinamerican experience", ORBX has the Global OpenLC for South America which makes the scenery in that area much more interesting.

Try a flight from La Paz (SLLP) at 13,300 ft ASL. And be very careful with your load calculation, when you take off from that airport.

La Paz (SLLP) to Lima (SPJC) is a very popular real-life route.

If you are flying a B737, insert a stop over in Cuzco SPZO. The approach and departure from this airport, is great.

Or an arrival into Cochabamba SLCB. Or Tarija SLTJ!! Just take a look at their approach charts.

Latin VFR (and others, freeware and payware) has sceneries for many of these airports, that are right in the midst of the Andes mountain range, challenging to fly because of the mountainous terrain and high altitudes and, overall, a lot of fun.

Enjoy!

13,300 ft. above sea level?   Hope it has a long runway!   Personal admission:  I die more often landing over 6,000 ft. high than anywhere else....

I have the ORB South American landclass too- spent about a month zig zagging my way down to Antarctica and back just for giggles.

ORBX's Telluride has given me fits trying to bring the 737 in there.  Not sure that airport was even meant for a plane that size but for those of you who like a challenge I recommend buying it and trying to land the 737 there (and getting it stopped before the end of the runway,,,,kind of a big deal, that one).  It's like an airport carved out of the side of a mountain in a deep valley with a river down below running through it.  I spoke to my ex-wife's brother about that airport, he flies business jets in and out of there, and he said the approach can appear misleading for those not accustomed to it.
