My nighttime cockpit is quite serene, except for the ISFD shining out from the panel.  Is there a way to adjust the brightness of this display in the same manner as the other display units?

Yup. left side there are plus and minus bars... buttons.  These adjust the light.

I had a bright yellow light in the cockpit that I use a sticky note to cover... there was no adjustment.  It was the prop sync light so it was always on except when landing or taking off.
