Cannot recall if this was ever asked before.  Mine is the screenshots forum where our sims, and add-ons, are shared so proudly.  Also like the flight video forum but it does not see much traffic and fewer responses to posts there.  Finally Hangar Chat, which I love for the variety of topics, it is a well moderated forum with so many interesting viewpoints, especially when real pilots, flight crew or traffic controllers contribute to the forum.  Also it is a great place along with the screenshots forum for heads up on new products or thanking developers for well established ones.

I used to like giving help in the OS and hardware forum but have not done so too often anymore since I quit seriously study when I retired from IT, I only know how to loosely support Windows and build systems, help troubleshoot heat issues, things like that.  Many more well qualified than I am to give such advice now.

I do enjoy giving sim advice, especially scenery and flight dynamics advice which were my specialties in the MSFS days, except for one set of freeware dynamics I completely blew because of a misplaced comma.  Since I do not have to tweak P3DV4 or Xplane11 with my setup as it is now, or Nvidia, I no longer offer such advice.  It is just needed less and less with newer, more modern systems like this one I bought this time, last year.  Systems are finally now out pacing the sims in performance and the sims do not need all their horsepower as long as background apps are kept in check, at least I find that true with mine.  I can even record movies without a big fps hit now using Nvidia's built in movie recorder.

I daily visit three AVSIM forums a few (or numerous...) times, usually in this order:

The AeroFly Simulator
Currently my most used sim. I visit it to see if I can help and to chat about the sim. Not much happening over there though.

The Prepar3d Forum
Currently my 2nd sim. I visit it to see if there's anything new and to sometimes help or chat. A lot more happening over there.

Hangar Chat
I visit it to see if there is something interesting that might somehow relate to my two sims.

That's it. I seldom visit any other AVSIM forums unless I really need to for support or anything.

When it comes to forums outside of AVSIM, I only visit these two forums daily:

IPACS FORUM
I mainly check General discussions to see what's new and also help plus chat.

Orbx forums
Mainly to follow content I posted in and the Preview forum to see what's new.

And again, that's it. I seldom visit any other flightsim related forum unless I really need it for something.

Finally, I do also visit one topic daily on the Dutch Gathering of Tweakers forum: it's a topic dedicated to flight sims. Not much happening there either though. The rest of that forum I also seldom use unless I need to.

My favourite is the screenshot forum because I always discover some new scenery or aircraft there, and it's a very open area showing the best of each sim.
