Uninstalling P3DV4

Recommended Posts

I have P3DV4.3 on my 1tb evo E: drive, I have my operating system installed on my C: drive, I know P3D installes files onto the C drive as well, unfortunately I had to reset windows 10 and now have a blank C drive. I was was wondering if its still possible to uninstall P3d thus deavtivating it without having to go through the the hole licensing process and waiting days for a new password.

I'm running out of space on my P3D drive, so I'm gonna buy a new 1TB SSD drive, and I found this guide from LM on how to uinstall P3Dv4. But it reqires you to reactivate the sim again, but that's usually a quick process, so try following the guide, and you should be fine (they say 🙂 )

Problem is I no longer have the uninstall option in my add/remove programs because I reformatted my C drive where windows is was installed. I dont know how to uninstall it aside from deleting the hole file off me E drive which would then leave my waiting days for LM to reset my password.

Hello Paul

Unfortunately you will need to request a reactivation again

Please e-mail licensing@prepar3d.com with a very brief explanation of the reason you need your license reactivated, along with your license ID and invoice number,  you should be sorted in under two business days.  Weekends and holidays are not Included.

For future reference you can simply Uninstall \ Deactivate the Prepar3D Client this will release the Prepar3D License from your Operating system.

Please see the short video below to Deactivate the Client

How to Deactivate the Prepar3D License From Your Operating System

I was hoping I would not have too get my license reactivated but I had no choice in not being able to uninstall properly as I was unable to get into my operating system. Thanks for the help.
